London Power Forum 2011
14th - 15th November 2011 Siemens Energy Service & Hilton Hotel Gateshead Price £320 – includes lecture and tour activities, one night accommodation and meals during the event. Travel excluded.
The 2011 Power Forum will offer delegates the opportunity to visit the facility of Siemens Energy Service in Newcastle and hear their leading engineers discuss topics of relevance in the arena of power generation equipment. The event will consist of a detailed tour of the Siemens facility where delegates will be able to see and examine equipment related to power generation and a relevant lecture programme designed by Siemens and the Organising Committee.
The onsite tour will include the assembly of steam turbines and generators, the manufacture of steam turbine components and blades, dynamic balancing and training in wind and steam turbines.
The lecture programme will include discussion on the power generation market, operations, maintenance regimes and typical failure modes in wind ( onshore and offshore) and gas/steam turbines and generators.
The programme will be relevant and useful to any individual looking to learn about the technical background to power generation insurance. The Forum this year will be a purely technical training event.
