'A NIGHT TO REMEMBER': Words and Music for 9 November 2011. Raising funds for The Afghanistan Trust and St Dunstan’s Charity for Blind Soldiers. 7pm 9 November 2011 at St Dunstan's in-the-West, Fleet Street. Tickets £12.50 in advance, £15 on the door. Concessions available.

The historic church of St Dunstan's in-the-West on Fleet Street hosts an evening of music and readings in Remembrance Tide to remember those who have served and to recognise the contribution of those who continue to serve us in the Armed Forces. The Afghanistan Trust exists to help support soldiers who served with The Parachute Regiment in Afghanistan who have been wounded or killed as a consequence, and their families.

The St Dunstan's Charity for the blind has renewed need as servicemen return from Afghanistan blinded by IEDs.

Service and ex-service personnel, musicians and poets will be taking part in what will be a moving evening and will be followed by a drinks reception.
