THE FILAMENTS
When they disbanded in 2006, Chelmsford’s The Filaments were widely hailed as one of the UK’s premier punk acts. After a serious amount of last ever shows they’ve “given up on giving up” and are back together for good!! The Filaments are fast and furious no-nonsense punk rock with a ripping brass section from Essex, perfectly filling the gap between Rancid and Conflict. They’ve toured with The Casualties, Deadline, Roger Miret and The Disasters, Horrorpops, Lars Frederiksen & the Bastards and finally they are playing their first London gig of 2012 on Jan 14th at The Purple Turtle!
