Indie classical singer and composer Ana Silvera's star is on the rise: soon to be performing a new work at the Roundhouse alongside Imogen Heap, her eagerly awaited EP 'The Aviary' is also scheduled for release for January 2012, (Mirabeau).
Ana Silvera's songs draw on her eventful life, as well as referencing mythical and historical tales for their lively narratives. 'The Aviary' was recorded in New York with Maxim Moston (Antony and the Johnsons, Baby Dee), and a film was recently released about Ana's song cycle 'Oracles' (dir.Kate Church) that premiered on PORT magazine earlier this year to great acclaim.
PLEASE NOTE: DOORS OPEN: 7pm, MUSIC STARTS AT 9pm.
The venue comprises both seated and standing space. There are a limited number of tables. These are allocated on a first come first served basis, with priority given to diners. If you’d like a table, please ensure you arrive early.
