Muha- East European cum Asian themes (Russian/Ukrainian with Hindi and Punjabi), nice female vocal, zippy acoustics and that get thee to the harem vibe...nice, fulla Eastern promise, yeah. MBCs- Mancshroom enthusiasts?...singer sounds like Gryff Rhys, band are more a Clash/Arctic Monks blend. Grinding goodly. Varangians-bristling altness with some razor sharp guitars and pleasingly pulsating riddim section. This is hard rock but with a N Western British lilt- Zepness via Electric 6. CGs- glissando guitars in a blues context- early Fleetwood Mac/ Beatles White Album and a genuinely wrought bluesy vocal akin to Free's Paul Rogers- this is very good.
