Do you have a favourite brass instrument? What about the cornet? The tuba? A good trombone? Maybe even the tiny piccolo trumpet? Whatever your favourite is, you’re guaranteed to hear it played in Brassed Up! – a performance by virtuoso multi-instrumental brass player James Stretton, and pianist Iain Jackson. Stretton will be playing every instrument in the brass family during the show. Even more impressive - he's equally brilliant at each one. It's going to be a real musical education as well as an incredible display of pure talent.
Stretton is a former member of both Black Dyke and Grimethorpe Colliery Brass Bands, as well as leading British orchestras and professional theatre orchestras. He’s also had massive success as a brass soloist and recording artist.
