Caroline Dale was a memorable string winner in one of the first BBC Young Musician of the Year competitions. Her individual and sonorous playing has led to a varied career, including principal cello for ECO, film music (‘Jackie’, ‘Atonement’ etc.) and pop music (Eric Clapton, David Gray). This dramatic programme includes the grand sonata by Cesar Franck and the lyrical sonata by Frank Bridge.
