40 years ago, a record that inspired and kick-started a new music and fashion culture that instigated what was soon to become termed glam-rock was released.  The record was 'Get It On', a song synonymous with the 1970s legendary musician and icon, Marc Bolan, of T.Rex.  'Get it On' spent 4 weeks at No.1, with the accompanying album 'Electric Warrior' also hitting the top position, spending 6 months in the Top 30. 

Now T.REXTASY - the only band endorsed and approved by Marc Bolan's family, estate and management – will not only be playing homage to Bolan's most iconic album which include 'Get It On', 'Jeepster', and 'Life's A Gas', but will also be playing their biggest hits, such as 'Ride a White Swan', 'Hot Love', '20th Century Boy', 'Telegram Sam', 'Metal Guru', 'I Love To Boogie', 'Children of the Revolution', Solid Gold Easy Action, The Groover, and more….

T.REXTASY are now considered by some to be of 'legendary status' and have 'gone beyond tribute' – this is due to their passion, musical talent, longevity, attention to detail, and respect from fans, fellow musicians, and the media.  They have, with their Marc Bolan doppelganger lead vocalist and lead guitarist, Danielz, been gigging worldwide for nearly 20 years.  In that time, they have toured Japan, Europe and the Far East, played the arenas of the UK, signed with Columbia Records and Liberation DVD, played at the BBC Hyde Park Prom Celebrations in front of 40,000, won the accolade of 'Best Live Tribute Band in the UK' on BBC1's 'Battle of the Fantasy Bands', performed at the original Billy Elliot Premiere Party, filmed for a BBC TV 'Arena Special', Invited ex-members of T.Rex, family, and musicians (such as Mickey Finn, Gloria Jones, Rolan Bolan, Tony Visconti, Marc Almond, Clem Burke, Linda Lewis, etc) to play alongside them in past special Anniversary concerts.  Dino Dines, a long-time member of T.Rex, actually joined T.Rextasy and remained with them until sadly passing away a few years ago….the list goes on…

T.REXTASY will recreate live, the music, the performance and the volume of those heady and outrageous glam rock times.  If anyone wishes to know exactly what a live Marc Bolan rock'n'roll concert felt like in the 1970s, then this is the band to see!
