Northern Star Records presents:
Revolution In Sound

Northern Star is a record label dedicated to independent and underground sounds. Launched in March 2006 with the first volume of the now legendary Psychedelica series, the label has evolved and refined their sound with the Revolution In Sound compilations. The compilations have placed well known cult acts alongside a host of unknowns and have launched the careers of The Black Angels, The Nova Saints, The December Sound and Youngteam amongst many others. The response to Northern Star has been phenomenal - one of massive public support and great critical acclaim garnering rave reviews from across the planet. Northern Star has become a truly worldwide phenomenon. Independent bands from all over the planet have united under the Northern Star umbrella - bands and musicians from the USA, Europe, South America, Asia and Australia. Northern Star - we're starting a revolution and we want you to be part of it!

The Domino State
The Domino State make “brooding, intense music that knocks spots off much of the competition” (The Independent). In 2010, they released their hotly anticipated debut album Uneasy Lies the Crown.’ The album release came after numerous prestigious support slots including the O2 Arena with Coldplay and tours with M83 and Longview, as well as festival appearances including Glastonbury and Summer Sundae Weekender. They will be previewing tracks from album no 2.

The Lost Rivers
Noise infused three-piece The Lost Rivers hail from the south west German state of Baden-Württemberg yet sound as if they might have been conceived in the outer reaches of hell. Surefire challengers to A Place To Bury Strangers' crown as kings (and queen) of sonic annihilation. Be sure to have those earplugs at the ready. Having firmly established themselves as one the most exciting rock 'n' roll bands on the planet, The Lost Rivers come over to play their first ever UK shows in support of their forthcoming debut album 'Sin and Lostness'

93MillionMilesFromTheSun
93MillionMilesFromTheSun have carved out a reputation as one of the loudest bands on the underground shoegaze circuit thanks to 2009's self-titled debut and their often ear-splitting live shows. Their latest offering Northern Sky takes their sonic blueprint one step further.

The Electric Mainline
The Electric Mainline are a loose musical collective based in London. The bands sound falls somewhere between shoegaze, punk and psychedelia. This is music for kids with their eyes rolled back in their heads and their heads in the clouds.
