Brighter Later returns for 2012: louder, later and more Buffalo-y!
This is going to be our first ever party at the Buffalo Bar, so we can't wait to see you there to make us feel at home. As always, all the money we raise will go straight to support the incredible work of Teenage Cancer Trust!
We're going to have live bands, cheap booze and gorgeous DJs playing late into the night, so whatever your plans are: bring your friends and come down and join us - we'll inevitably be dancing to Prince late into the night.
LOUIS BRENNAN
The first name we're air-punchingly happy to announce is Brighter Later favourite Louis Brennan, who in his previous shows for us at the Boogaloo had a silent room hanging on his every word. Since then he's revamped his band - adding a whole shedload of synths - and he's ready to take the Buffalo Bar by storm!
ANOTHERS BLOOD
We’re thrilled to announce that Anothers Blood will be playing for us! Fresh from covering New Order’s ‘Lonesome Tonight’ for this month’s Mojo’s cover disc, this band have been described as “capturing the soul-grabbing essence of Sigur Ros mixed with the fan-frenzied enigmaticness of Wu Lyf” (killingmoonlimited.com). We’re at a loss to put their sound into words so just come along and be blown away live!

PS. Brighter Later want to congratulate the very lovely Michael Kiwanuka on being named BBC Sound of 2012! Of course, he was Brighter Later's Sound of 2010. You heard him here first! We're ahead of the curve, people!
