Yet another delicious act from the Tru Thoughts label with a long over due performance from Kinny (live PA).

Caitlin ‘Kinny’ Simpson is half Jamaican, half native Indian, born in Canada and is as beautiful as the combination conjures. She is a classically trained Opera singer, but her love for reggae and jazz always came first and touring with a reggae band resulted in her visiting Norway and deciding to live there. This is where she met Espen and the beautiful music began!

And oh my is it beautiful. Deep, soul-ridden funk personality pours out into the airwaves. No doubt if you have sat relaxing with a coffee in the Gwdihŵ you would have heard her emanating from Pascal’s play-lists and forgotten what you were going to do with your day. You need an exceptional excuse to miss this!
