A body is laid out on a candle-lit table. Time stands still.
Very slowly a glowing china cup floats its tea-and-sympathy ritual. A last cup of tea. Finality. The End.
Biting the Dust is a tender and beautiful examination of death and rebirth, an animated installation/performance using objects and puppetry to encompass and evoke dreams and memories of a life once lived. Clothing comes to life and stands for husband and wife, children. Red shoes step down from the line and a journey begins.
Expect a visual feast of strange and haunting images, a dark tale with animated shadows.
