Brighton's leading exponents of country-noir, the mighty SALTER CANE, have made an album and it is packed with the bousouki-led, darker-than-death narratives we have come to love and expect from the fiery foursome. Over the past couple of years thay have supported the likes of GIANT SAND and MY MORNING JACKET, not to mention a growing number of talked-about headline slots.

Making her debut in the UK. Molly Thomas has played with TODD SNIDER, MATTHEW RYAN and WILL KIMBROUGH (to name but three) and has just put out her own album, Shoot The Sky, which calls to mind the likes of LUCINDA WILLIAMS, JESS KLEIN and HOPE SANDOVAL: by turns gravelled, gutsy and haunting - and always great!
