After packed out shows at the Bloomsbury Theatre and Theatre Royal Haymarket, Festival of the Spoken Nerd are going back to their roots with a DIY, make-and-do new show about games.

We're in a different venue from usual, so please check your tickets carefully and note that it's strictly over 18s only at Ginglik. It's also worth remembering that they do yummy food there all night too.

2012 is the 50th anniversary of SpaceWar - the first game designed for these newfangled "computer" things everyone keeps talking about. We're not just obsessing about computer games though... from Meccano to Hide and Seek, we're looking at anything we played when we were young and finding excuses to recreate it in an underground ex-toilet in Shepherds Bush.

Sonic the Hedgehog? Yes.
Atari 7800? Tick.
Lego Technic? Still got it.

Guests include gadget-loving comedian Tiffany Stevenson plus mathematical juggler Colin Wright.

But you can still buy a limited number of standing tickets on the door for £6 - arrive after the doors open. There won't be any seats but there will be some room for standing.

PLEASE NOTE: This venue is strictly over 18s only. There is absolutely no way we can let in people aged 17 or under because of the licensing laws, so please don't buy a ticket if you are under 18, or buy one for someone else who is under 18.
