Event information

Following our successful Raising the Roof live music and comedy night in September 2011 and our Carolathon in December 2011, we'd like to invite you to support Upstage Centre Youth Theatre raise a further £1,000 towards our £5,000 target to help fix the roof of the studio theatre!

Now you can support the cause by buying bets on the toy pigs (yes, that's right!) that will be racing - well, slowly oinking, in their charming mechanical way - across our studio floor, whether you are there to watch the races live or not! There will be 9 races in total and you can own a pig in a race for just £2. If your pig wins, win the race's grand prize. It might sounds crazy, but in toy-pig circles, it is renowned to be fantastic, family-friendly fun...

The racing itself is taking place on Saturday 3rd March and we encourage you to invite along your friends and family. If you are able to come along, a ticket to the event will give you an evening of exciting entertainment starting at 7pm with the all important toy pig racing, followed by live music from The Rusty Pegs (who played at our last fundraising event) and a licensed bar serving alcohol, soft drinks and refreshments until late.
