Pink Crudge-semi psych indie comes on like a power trio version of Suede, powerful guitar strokes and cool and aloof vocals...then the solos start and it's Cream meets Foo Fighters! Reign- Bliss out psych rock with neat lead like early Santana or Peter Green- now with added djembe!! A percussive instrument I believe...PJ- 1 man tour de force with acoustic guitar and forthright songs dealing righteously with the misdemeanors of sexual politics, puts lie to the pejorative 'singer songwriter'. WOU-darkly psychedelic with taut New Orderly basslines and something of The Nightingales what with the acerbic fiddle. A lot of moods/textures explored, utterly compelling sons of C86.
