Neil Halstead

Neil lives in Cornwall and was a member of cult shoe-gaze band Slowdive before forming critically acclaimed psych-country/folk outfit Mojave 3 . They have so far released five albums in are in the process of thinking about another one…it may take some time.

Neil’s first solo record 'Sleeping on Roads" was released to critical acclaim on 4AD records in 2002 , a second album "Oh Mighty Engine" released in 2009 on Jack Johnsons Brushfire Records. After touring extensively ,both with Jack Johnson and solo , 2012 will see Neil release his third album ‘palindrome Hunches” again on Brushfire Records.

Old Lost John

Swedish folk noir that manages to sound fresh and new

Swedish, moody, and wrapped up in that American folk-noir vibe seemingly de rigueur in his homeland, Tomas Thunberg AKA Old Lost John however has an altogether wider sphere of influence on which he draws for his work. Alongside the obvious nods to the roots tradition there are elements of the carnival-esque roguishness of Waits mixed with winsome orchestrated, down-played grandness of, say, a stripped down Willard Grant Conspiracy.
