The Albion Band has existed in one form or another since 1971 and over 100 different people have played in the band in those 40 years. Now, their founder has stepped aside and handed over completely to his 19 year old son Blair Dunlop. No one in the current line up has ever played in the band before but, in true Albion spirit, the new line up brings together some of the finest musicians and singers in the UK folk scene.

This new band recaptures the soul of the Albion Band but with a rockier, edgier approach. Taking the unique character of classic era Albion Band, fusing it with award winning song writing and a rock and indie vibe, the new sound is contemporary English Folk-Rock at its glorious best. The band perform self-penned and traditional material as well as re-booted Albion Band classics in a diverse and energetic live set.
