Returning from SXSW shows in Texas in March, Manchester four-piece Dutch Uncles are set to headline the Chorlton weekender. Influences range from The Smiths and Talking Heads to Sparks and Cardicas.

Intelligent lyrics and catchy off-beat rhythms give this band a retro pop feel that belies a real energy and power. Dutch Uncles are reaching an ever wider audience, and after rave reviews of album Cadenza by both the BBC and specialist music website Drowned in Sound, we can expect them to be an even bigger presence in the coming years.

The Dutch Uncle's will be joined on the night with the best of new talent in Manchester for a memorable end to the Chorlton Weekender.
