The Weald Choir of Crawley, conducted by Michael Emery, embrace the Olympic Spirit and take you on a a musical journey which will circle the globe, stopping off in France, Spain, Italy, Africa, Eastern Europe, Japan, Australiasia, South America, USA, Ireland, and Scotland. With guests - folk duo 'Reelstrings' . Music will include Canteloube's 'Bailero' (from 'Songs of the Auvergne'), Faure's 'Cantique de Jean Racine, Monteverdi 'Cantate Domino', and pieces by Chilcott, Rachmaninov, Bernstein and Vaughan Williams. The accompanist will be Gina Eason. Free parking is available in the school playground, off Collier Row, opposite the venue.
