> DEATH PEDALS
From Brighton but hanging out in whatever East London alt-punk scene that there is Death Pedals make an unearthly racket of riffs. Frantic and chaotic duelling guitars. They are known for being a must-see live band, and also for their own East End London alt. punk night, “I Hate The Kids” – named after a Hot Snakes song, which certainly sets the tone. Often coining the term ‘DIY’ in relation to what they do, their music, and the scene that they’re a part of. Distorted vocals, thick yet brash rock ‘n’ roll guitars, fuzzy bass, and a deep snare that punches you square in the face with every hit.
Maximum Rock'n'Roll just like the Computers and The Bronx deliver and we enjoy.

> I AM AUSTIN
I Am Austin are Adam Hughes - a bass player with an amp setup so filthy it should have an 18 rating attached to it, and David Mitchell - a drummer/vocalist who hits his kit so ferociously, you’d think it would have somehow wronged him in the past! A two piece, with some freshly squeezed electro synth to boot. I Am Austin describe themselves as "The world's smallest band, with the b...iggest noise" - a mixture of future blues, dance, rock, and garage-punk. They hail from Connah's Quay in North Wales delivering stunningly different electro-punk, rock duo have managed to create something unique - producing a sound that merges the sexiness of rock 'n' roll, with the dirtiness of drum and bass. Anyone who has caught DZ Deathrays recently or recalls Death From Above 1979 will know how riffs and grooves melded like this can work. 'Bloodlips' is the March released new EP.

> PANTS NEST
Pants Nest sound nasty but dress up nice. Don't be confused by the four-pieces black ties and suits because behind the facade is an industrial squall of noise making that uses the grooves of LIARS (and I mean ten minute workouts) with the riffage of Slayer. Who knows what evil lurks in the grooves of their debut EP 'Rest Your Cheeks' featuring tracks 'Edible Oediple', 'Got It Mist Um' and the 12 min 'Dr Unk'.
A industrially destructive and artful new member of the New Heavy Sounds cannon - they sound scary.
