Some Dudes are proud to present:
Promise Of Redemption (Shane Henderson of Valencia),
Rob Lynch (Formerly Lost On Campus),
Maycomb (Acoustic set),
Jimmy Holland,
1 more act to be announced.
Thursday, May 24th, The Old Angel, Nottingham.
Promise Of Redemption - Originally started as a side project now that Valencia (rip) have parted ways expect to see much more of Shane's acoustic side. Heartfelt and captivating songs that truly capture both the tragic and the beautiful. Having only played one UK show before this is probably your first chance to catch him.If music that tugs the heartstrings is what you're after, Shane's your man.

Rob Lynch - Formerly known as Lost On Campus, Rob is a favourite of us all at some dudes. Having played various chaotic house shows for us before, this is the first time he's not gracing one of our living rooms. From upbeat to sombre, it's fair to say Rob's repertoire is varied. His self titled e.p was released last October on Walnut Tree Records and was one of the strongest releases by a UK artist last year. Expect mass sing-a-longs, human pyramids and N-dubz covers.

Maycomb - Super catchy pop-punk from Wolverhampton. Maycomb have played with their fair share of awesome bands over the years, name a pop-punk band and the chances are they've probably played with them. Having released 2 solid e.p's already expect an acoustic e.p on the cards soon to accompany their acoustic set and a long overdue return to Nottingham.

Jimmy Holland - How could we not invite him back really?! Another favourite of ours, Jimmy is no stranger to our living rooms and after an eventful house show with Rob Lynch last year which involved someone being crowd surfed out of a window (we're not naming names) Jimmy's back. Feel good, catchy as fuck acoustic ditties that make you want to grab a beer and the nearest friend and sing your heart out until your throat bleeds. Grab his tape and merch from our friends at Pinky Swear Records.
