Geoff Eales' Isorythm is a departure for one of our most talented pianists, featuring Eales himself on Fender Rhodes as well as acoustic piano and presenting his band as close kin to Chick Corea's Return to Forever-onwards ourfits. The music is replete with drama, powerful themes and subtle contrasts, all superbly realized by Ben Waghorn on saxophone, Carl Orr on electric and acoustic guitar driven by Fred T Baker on bass guitar and Asaf Sirkis on drums.
