Born and raised in East Cleveland but now living in Sheffield, William K.J. Anderson is best known for previously being one third of DARTZ! and currently being one half of Algiers.
Armed simply with his acoustic guitar, William's solo output is a far cry from that of his bands, with comparisons to artists as varied as Geoff Farina, Nick Drake, Iron & Wine, Skip James and Ben Gibbard regularly being thrown around.
Having shared stages with the likes of Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Beth Jeans Houghton and Hyde & Beast last year, William will be performing his first solo gig of 2012 in the intimate surroundings of Middlesbrough's The Olde Young Tea House.
