Midsummer Night Screen are returning to Dalston Roof Park this May, bringing together film and music in another summer of al fresco rooftop events.

We're incredibly excited to be kicking things off with American Graffiti - an iconic coming-of-age movie with a soundtrack studded with early 60s rock 'n' roll hits.

There'll be American Diner food served by The Long Table, Background Bar serving cocktails and refreshments and Midsummer Night Screen DJs soundtracking your evening with 60s rock 'n' roll.

It's the last night of summer before college begins, and we watch as four teenagers cruise the strip,weaving in and out of each other's lives as they make major decisions and have their last adventures before dawn. The film is a nostalgic, bittersweet homage to small town California in the 1960s, remembered with vintage cars and drive-ins, drag racing and make-out sessions, all set to a nonstop rock soundtrack.

Directed by George Lucas (before he invented the galaxy far far away), the film stars the then up-and-coming actors Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard and Harrison Ford.
