The Muel is the brainchild of Samuel Walker - a multi-instrumentalist with a wide, toothy grin and an abundance of facial hair. He plays drums standing up, and is full of hope.
After spending most of his formative years recording music solo and giving it away to friends and strangers alike, he now has a spirited ensemble to help him in his adventures.
After a hectic 2011 with festival appearances and touring across the UK and Europe, including 3 shows at Glastonbury, The Muel bring their brain-fizzingly eclectic and huge sound to The Brunswick for a home town new year show. Expect dirty grooves, rousing choruses, heart wrenching melody, hilarity, sweat and joy!
The band will be debuting lots of new material as they gear up for another hectic year, as well as tunes from 2010's acclaimed debut album 'Once at Everywhere' which received the remix treatment from the likes of The Bees (Fiction), The Qemists (Ninja Tune) and Blue States (Memphis Industries).
