The legendary folk duo, formed by Leo O'Kelly & Sonny Condell in the early 70s are regarded as one of the most influential groups to have come from Ireland. Their psychedelic folk stylings were much championed by John Peel, resulting in many Peel sessions in the early 70s. Following extensive touring and appearances in that decade with bands as disparate as Hawkwind, The Who, Fairport Convention, Roxy Music and Jethro Tull they became something of a cult, attracting followers of every musical persuasion. Last year marked the 40th birthday of their debut album "Tir na nOg" and the duo have only recently started to tour Britain again, enchanting audiences once more with their magical performances and timeless songs.
