Elgar's Cello Concerto with soloist Jennie Pounder is the centrepiece for this "Best of British" concert which coincides with Crowthorne's Carnival Day. The programme also includes Elgar's Cockaigne overture, Holst's St Paul's Suite, the Scherzo from Vaughan Williams' 8th Symphony, and two works by Malcolm Arnold – Little Suite No 1 and Cornish Dances.
