From all corners of the world they tumbled into the streets of Barcelona in 2003 and have been mixing their original blend of theatrical melodies and infectious grooves with a mish-mash of languages ever since. Their concerts take you from the middle of a jumping ska-mosh pit into the brassy arms of a drunken fanfare, bewitch you with love songs, then dance you dizzy at an all night Balkan wedding party.
Gadjo have toured extensively through Europe, sowing their musical mayhem as they go, from gypsy-cumbia, balkanic-ska to reggae-swing and surf-tango. Up to now they have produced four albums, attracted a huge international following, and they continue to charm audiences wherever they go, playing in theatre, circus and music festivals; up trees, on beaches, barges and horsecarts, on top of trucks, in bars, clubs and castles. Wherever it is expect the dust to fly as the music lifts your feet into an unstoppable dance.
