Euro Cinema is a Dutch group that plays cinematic Hammond funk & soul jazz. Their sound was inspired by classic rare groove LP's on Prestige and Blue note, as well as infamous Blaxploitation soundtracks and anonymous library music of the 1970s.

Euro Cinema consists of Tim den Heijer (guitar), Niels Piay (drums), Dennis Orsel (bass) and Rob Schepens (Hammond organ). The track Euro Boogaloo off the first demo was picked up on Myspace by influential DJs including Craig Charles (BBC6). The group started gigging on a regular basis in Dutch jazz/funk clubs and quickly acquired a reputation for their energetic live shows. In 2010 Euro Cinema had the honor of opening the prestigious Saint Paul Soul Jazz Festival in France.

In 2010, Euro Cinema released the vinyl single Brooklyn Groove on the U.S. label Hammondbeat Records. The single got airplay around the globe, from the Netherlands to BBC6, the U.S. and Canada. In march 2011, full length album debut "Ten-4" followed. Like the single, the album was produced by Dutch funk mastermind Phil Martin, known for the Soul Snatchers and Laura Vane.

In 2012, Euro Cinema hit the studio to collaborate with saxophone player and flutist Susanne Alt, who previously shared the stage with everyone from George Clinton to Fred Wesley. The result is the single Der Alte b/w The French Confusion, which will be released on German label Légère Recordings. The A-side is a version of the theme to famous German Krimi series. Original composer and film music legend Peter Thomas responded very enthusiastically to the version.
