Event information

This topical debate will pose a number of key questions. What is the evidence about Scottish attitudes to immigration, and do they support the claims of Scotland to be a more welcoming country? What is the basis of differing attitudes to immigration and what are the implications for Scotland's future? What lessons can be learned from Scottish approaches? Do migrants themselves think Scotland is welcoming? Chaired by Angie Starn from British Future, with panellists John Wilkes, Chief Executive, Scottish Refugee Council; Alieu Cissay, refugee journalist; Alex Massey, journalist; and Lesley Riddoch, journalist and broadcaster.

In association with the Scottish Refugee Council and British Future.
