Five piece folk outfit Dark, Dark, Dark from Minneapolis (USA) release their third album 'Who Needs Who' on October 1st. 2010's 'Wild Go' was one of our fondest records of that particular year, complete with a strikingly impressive live set up we are really excited to be welcoming them to Salford as part of their UK tour, fresh from the fields of the Greenman Festival.

Support comes from the ever talented Nancy Elizabeth, whose shows have become few and far between, she appears to be one of the few artists who get better and better EVERY time we see her, no pressure! We have seen Nancy play many a time since the early days of her first performances, so it is an honour to coax her back to the Red Deer stage.

Latest signings to the label Literature Thieves complete the line up. The three piece Manchester based outfit harp back to the early days of Stealing Sheep and we are very excited to begin work with them for future releases. Catch these girls whist you can.

A small intimate show see's Red Deer Club return to Sacred Trinity for a lovely Sunday evening of chamber folk and a quality line up, which we have become especially renowned for. We have a few months of special one off performance lined up for the rest of 2012, plus the launch of a new night in 2013 called H.E.R.D.
