The Shame- kool n kooky punk pop outfit, energetic stuff and thankfully they avoid the nursery rhyme nu punk a la Americano mode. Fjokra- Duelling big and bold male vocals and sassy female vox on a semi minimalistic electronica lo-fi pop background, with some incredible build-ups to Muse-like anthemic peaks....some Yes moments, some Queen, some heaviness, some rock, some pop, something for everyone... a prog pop rock tour de force. The Velvetines- Snappy femme fronted rock pop with a swish New York feel recalling The Pretenders and Patti Smith. Good songs well executed, such as the Chrissie Hynde goes psycho stomp of '21 reasons'which also rocks good slide git. They liken themselves to PJ Harvey, Led Zep and QOTSA. Good work.
