Despite making his name in Hollywood as purveyor of all things action, don't let it be said that Arnold Schwarzenegger has no sense of humour. He was governor of California after all... Here, he plays a harried father who decides to dream the impossible dream, to get that year's hot toy for his son just before Christmas Day. I bet this pans out in a series of unplanned and chaotically hilarious events. It does? Excellent.

And so Jingle All The Way must be added to titles such as Twins and Junior in the roll call of classic, uplifting comedies that have been presided over by our favourite bulky Austrian. This is definitely one not to miss.
