Event information
Southgate Symphony Orchestra is joined by flautist Julie Groves for this French and German programme, which includes Poulenc (arr. Berkeley)'s 'Flute Concerto' and 'Mozart's Andante in C major' (for flute and orchestra). The evening opens with the impressionistic 'Petite Suite' and concludes with 'Beethoven's Symphony no. 7' with its stirring dance-like rhythms.
