Tom Hicks is a 19-year-old pianist from Guernsey, who has been awarded many prizes including the first prize in the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe Junior Intercollegiate Competition and first in the Junior Bakst Memorial Prize. He gained a place at Chetham's in 2009, studying with Murray McLachlan with whom he is continuing on the joint course at The Royal Northern College of Music and Manchester University.
Tom already has an expansive repertoire and has performed in such prestigious venues as the Royal Festival Hall in London and the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. KCMS is delighted to welcome Tom to play for us at Leighton House, knowing that his talent will be admired and widely applauded. His programme includes:
