Jessica Bailiff is without doubt one of the most important figures in the international drone/folk/psych underground. Since 1998 she has released a series of astonishing solo albums - the latest being 2012's profoundly beautiful At The Down-Turned Jagged Rim Of The Sky (Kranky) - and collaborated with Flying Saucer Attack's Dave Pearce (in Clear Horizon), Low's Alan Sparhawk and Odd Nosdam.
Boduf Songs is Mat Sweet, whose acoustic songcraft recently entered a new dark universe with the electronically-enhanced Burnt Up On Re-Entry (Southern). A disturbing collection of morbid ruminations, the album drapes its minimalist framework with a variety of rich psychedelic textures.
Lost Harbours are a two-piece experimental folk duo from Southend on Sea. Influenced by 60's psych folk, modern composition, musique concrete and drone, they have toured the Baltics and played with the Dead Rat Orchestra, Bird Names, The Doomed Bird of Providence, Library Tapes, Kostoglotov, The Owl Service, Nancy Wallace, Ninni Morgia and Temperatures.
