Julie Felix has always proved a popular artist here and we are delighted to welcome her back soon after celebrating her 75th birthday with a major concert at the Leicester Square Theatre in London.
Julie was the first solo folk artist to be signed to a major British record producer (Decca) when she arrived from California after hitching round Europe with a duffel bag and guitar back in 1964. Protest and passion have always been at the heart of Julieís work, from singing to 27,000 people opposing the Vietnam war in New Zealand in the early 70ís to her championing womenís and gay rights and opposition to the Gulf War and use of landmines in more recent years.
She remains as committed and engaged as ever, promising an evening of music and conversation guaranteed to delight her admirers.
