Tall Ships released their debut album 'Everything Touching' in October, through Big Scary Monsters/Blood and Biscuits, receiving rave reviews from all corners of the press. The album was recorded with producer Jamie Field in Bovey Tracey, Devon and mastered by Jeff Lipton at Peerless (Battles, LCD Soundsystem, Bon Iver and Arcade Fire).
Tall Ships were included by Zane Lowe in his recent FutureR1 feature, comparing the huge riffs of latest single 'T=0' to Deftones and ...Trail of Dead. The track has been receiving attention across the board from 6music, XFM and Amazing Radio and marks a great start to what is destined to be a huge year for Tall Ships. The band head out on tour across the UK, which comes to a close with their biggest headline show to date at Scala, before they head across the pond to showcase at SXSW, followed up by their first headline tour across Europe.
Tall Ships are fast gaining a well-deserved reputation as one of the most innovative and exciting live bands in the UK right now. They tour relentlessly and have honed the show into a thrilling experience, both aurally and visually as layers of sound and vocals are cleverly and deftly assembled to startling effect. On their recent UK tour, Tall Ships performed to sold out venues across the country before completing the tour by performing to a capacity crowd at XOYO, London. They then continued across Europe, in support Nada Surf. They have already supported the likes of We Are Scientists, Metronomy (in Brazil), 65 Days Of Static (throughout Europe), Dry The River, Los Campesinos!, Nada Surf, Maps & Atlases, The Futureheads, Minus The Bear, Three Trapped Tigers & Tubelord.
