‘Gorgeously lyrical and infectiously rhythmic’ All About Jazz
This month e17 jazz’s founder Carlos Lopez-Real presents the first outing of his newly-reformed band Mandorla, an exciting electro-acoustic quartet with an emphasis on strong melodies and grooves that draw you in. The music is very accessible, the tunes are varied and exciting, and have a massive dynamic and emotional range. Tonight will feature many brand new compositions, together with material from the first album.
