Auction for the Promise Club are a rock band from St Agnes, Cornwall. The band has been selected by the Kaiser Chiefs to be the first track on their Emerging Icons Album and made it into the Marie Claire UK Playlist alongside Florence and the Machine and I Blame Coco. Their debut EP ‘One’ was recorded at London’s famed Abbey Road Studio's and Cube Recordings.
The band are Quiksilver brand ambassadors and a PRS for Music 'Taste makers Tip'. They were recently introduced on NME Radio, BBC 6 Music, XFM and on Absolute Radio. The band headlined the Emerging Icons Stage in the Olympic Park on the opening day of London 2012 and the band were subsequently asked back to perform at the Paralympics.
Previously Auction for the Promise Club have supported Paolo Nutini, Martha Wainright and Pendulum at the Eden Sessions and also The Pigeon Detectives and Reverend and The Makers. The band has racked up performances at some of the country's most renowned venues, including the O2 Academy Islington, O2 ABC Glasgow, Manchester Academy, Liverpool's Cavern Club, The Factory/Fac251 in Manchester, Birmingham's Gatecrasher and the ICA and 100 Club in London, as well as headlining a closing show at London Fashion Week, Jalouse, Mayfair. The band has played festivals such as Bestival, Boardmasters, Y Not, Lodestar, Leopallooza etc.
