CHAOS COLLECTIVE NIGHT 'Stories' ft. LAUREN KINSELLA. Lineup: JOE MURGATROYD - clarinet/bass clarinet, LAURA JURD– trumpet, JOE WRIGHT - saxophones/electronics, JAMES OPSTAD - double bass & SIMON ROTH – drums + special guest LAUREN KINSELLA – voice 'Stories is a band led by drummer/composer Simon Roth. His compositions are springboards that draw on influences such as Louis Sclavis, Amon Tobin, Ben Allison and Igor Stravinsky. Stories unites five of London's most exciting instrumentalists, whose combined force creates an emotionally charged music full of nifty melodies, fruity harmony and propulsive grooves. Tonight Stories are joined by the wonderful vocalist Lauren Kinsella, to perform a set of Simon's original songs and arrangements of folk songs.' - Doors open: 6pm, Music 8-11pm £8/£5 MU, student/advance
