Level 1 Improvisation Workshop

Designed for beginners and those with some experience. Each 2 hour workshop is unique. It’s fun, energetic and will fire up the imagination and creativity. We’ll put the basics in place, then explore ‘saying yes’ ‘playing emotions’ and ‘creating characters’. Your chance to try your hand at ‘whose line is it anyway’. A great skill for actors to use in rehearsal and general confidence building. • Increase creativity and imagination. • Improve communication and listening skills • Develop confidence and teamwork. Improvisation demands a heightened level of communication and can improve your business and personal communication. Learning the ‘tools’ of Improvisation helps to improve your performance in meetings, presentations and all interactions. The 2 hour sessions are always different and 99% practical. It’s fun, active and instructive. Be prepared to get going straight away and taken through the building blocks of Improvisation including spontaneity, listening, building ideas, imagination and communication. Sessions are ‘drop in’ but must be booked in advance. To ensure quality of experience places are restricted and early booking is recommended. Two hour session: £15
