Satsangi- Rolling Stone magazine says..“charged by guitar romp and fiery vocals, the sound is fresh, crisp and aggressive, Menon offers a compelling mash of vocal styles; rewind to Dolores O’Riordan, Grace Slick, Sinead O’Connor and fast forward to the likes of Bjork and Karen O and add to that the bizarre temperament of the likes of Tori Amos and Regina Spektor.”Sweat Panther Sweat-chugging metallish alt rock spanning Foo Fighterisms and a lorra Muse via some harder heavier elements- an unusual falsetto choirester edge to the vocal at times, often embracing big harmonies like a hardcore Queen! ...via Muse a class act and actually pretty original, especially the vocal. Calico- picture Siouxsie and the Banshees in their pomp, but re-imagined as a kind of post Beautiful South punk tinged soul combo...add to that bits of The Kills and even a touch of punkered up Amy Winehouse and it's a winner.
