Manos Kanellos has gone down a storm at the Stand up for Labour events he has appeared at. There is something magical about the way he deconstructs the political situation and audiences have found it impossible not to get lost in his hilarity.
Spontaneous Combustion bring their impro comedy to another Stand up for Labour, having proved a great success at Ipswick and Ealing. Anyone who is familiar with the TV programme 'Whose Line Is it Anyway?' will be familiar with the format. Luke Sorba and Suki Webster are fantastic at thinking on their feet and responding to audience ideas.
Shazia Mirza is a former winner of the Hackney Empire New Acts award, who has gone from strength to strength as a writer and comedian. She has toured the world and received rave reviews in the US (where she was a semi-finalist in 'Last Comic Standing'). She has also appeared on many TV and radio shows as well as two films.
There will be speeches from the two Labour Party candidates for parliamentary constituencies in Milton Keynes.
