The Ripieno Choir pays tribute both to master lutenist John Dowland on the 450th anniversary of his birth, performed by Jenny Hansell (soprano) and Linda Sayce (lute), and to Benjamin Britten on his centenary. The typically varied programme also includes Eric Whitacre’s set of three Flower Songs and a selection of Victorian and Edwardian partsongs, a much-loved feature of our summer concerts.
