London-born Louis Demetrius Alvanis made his concerto debut at the Royal Festival Hall at the age of 20 and has since established an international career, performing in the UK, across Europe, and in the States every year. His playing is regularly broadcast and his CD releases on the meridian and Brilliant Classics labels have been critically acclaimed by the international music press. In London he has appeared at the Barbican Hall, Wigmore Hall, St. John's Smith Square and the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Louis has a long association with the Chopin Society and always attracts a full house. We are very pleased that he is playing for us again this season.
