Classic Plastic-clean limbed young Brighton indie pop happening sonically similar to Franz Ferdinand but with a far more appealing end product that echoes The Strokes, a bit of Tim Charlatan in the vocal, some Beatlepop and a hint of other retroness indicated by their pointy boots- but overall this is fresh and now sounding. The Monty Hall Problem-Scottish alt rockers with some powerful guitar work and piping oddball keys. Incomes the vocal and it's pure Ian Hunter. Some SAHB, Steve Harley and Clash in here too, decent.Paint Happy-rappy rock delivery on the vocal, a more standard indie rock musically albeit via some old baggy beats. Bits of N*E*R*D, RHCP and strangely The Velvet Underground (guitar sound/delivery)- a combo that works quite well, not least of all coz the tune is a good un ('Running With My Eyes Closed')The Lad And The Others- Britpop meets indie rock somewhere between Oasis and The Stone Roses. A pretty polished performance and there's some memorable hooks.
