Geeq- Prog or pronk.... pig noises, laugh box sounds, a R Fripp circa Islands riff here, a cavalcade of clowns vibe there, a bit of Cardiacs but also a sugared pill in the form of some harmonies and sweet toned passages...bits of Mr Bungle, some Zappa too ...fabulous work.
The Vultures- baroque country pop with a deep dark gothic leaning. Like Johnny Cash got kidnapped by Andrew Eldritch and tied to the bed round Bert Bachorac's gaff by Nancy Sinatra.
MDME SPKR- Nasty low slung narco punk, girl singer with deliriously nasty vocal...part Niagra out of Destroy All Monsters, part disaffected rap chick. There's a nice stoner element here, but there's also a bit of Cramps twang and garageness and a bit of Fallabilly about it. Sounds great, loads of tood, loads of prowling malevolence. ORDER!!
Voyeurz- Groovily ironic yob-rock re-write of The Saints, swaggering garagey punk with shouty "whoah whoah" choruses, possible Misfits influence too..
Dog Gone- an interesting blend of counter culturally adrift late 60s into 70s progressive rocknroll and cheeky pop via punk funk dynamics...something of Richard Thompson what with the lilt of folk in here and the clever guitar playing but it's direct and garagey too...and the riddim section works it good. Nifty sweat promoting three piece of great promise.
