MONIKA LIDKE BAND + SHEZ RAJA COLLECTIVE - 'Polish folk-jazz singer plus acclaimed bass-led fusion unit' MONIKA LIDKE - vocals, guitar, KRISTIAN BORRING guitar, TIM FAIRHALL double bass & ADAM SPIERS cello, plus... Her music blends jazz and folk with Polish and French roots to create a mesmerising multilingual live show. Monika is currently promoting her highly acclaimed debut album Waking up to Beauty at great venues and festivals and her music appears regularly on radio shows. Monika has been fortunate to perform and/or record with Basia Trzetrzelewska, Andy Sheppard, Abram Wilson, Claude Deppa, Janek Gwizdala and Shez Raja.
Dynamic electric bass player Shez Raja formed his London-based Collective with the vision of creating exciting music that evokes all of the emotions - a multi-genre world of euphoric jazz, thundering funk, tuneful ragas and intoxicating grooves.
The Collective's live show is an eclectic headcharge of raw energy and always leaves audiences uplifted, inspired and asking for more.
Following headline performances at international jazz festivals and venues from Russia to New Zealand they have amassed a devoted fan base and forged a reputation as one of the most entertaining live acts on the scene today.
